One of the first rooms we tackled was the former nursery. Hubby wanted it to become his office – he has a thing for bay windows.
The first issue: the wall color. It was kelly green with bug and flower stickers. Great for a kid? Maybe, we’re not judging. For an office though it was a bit … seizure-inducing.
So, off we went to Home Depot in search of paint chips. After much deliberation we picked Martha Stewart Living in Bone Folder: white but not too white. It works with our light wood furniture as it gives it a light, airy feeling.
Here are some before and after photos:
Nursery – before
Office – painting process
Office – finished (almost)
We still need to paint the trim and add curtains so stay tuned!
